Has your or
any of your acquaintance’s vehicle been stolen? The market of car alarms is currently ruled by the products of hardly more than a dozen manufacturers and these essentially do not differ from each other. These are generally so-called hopping-code radio-controlled alarms that were developed more than ten years ago and are produced in an unchanged form since then. Criminals have achieved by now that they can inactivate any system that operates based on this principle by redeciphering coding algorithms by computer (code stealing) or with the help of other methods.
After
several years of development, our company has created its first
product, which represents the next generation of car alarms and
provides protection that is several security levels higher than that
of traditional hopping-code alarms.
Brief introduction Blue 16 car alarm is controlled by a state-of-the-art transponder IC that is produced by Philips. The system operates on a proximity-key, challenge response principle. The challenge response system mainly differs from the hopping-code one in that, that while older systems achieved security by the large number of codes only, the challenge response system combines the large number of codes with the insertion of random figures, two-way communication and time limits, thus makes „breaking into” the system impossible. Our basic model possesses parameters that, in many cases, exceed the knowledge of other producers’ top models. In our opinion this is the minimal technical level necessary for the efficient protection of vehicles.
